Quality of Life for Retirees: Aging in Place and Downsizing Options

Where will we live as we age? What options exist for people who want to live independently for as long as they can? The topics covered in “Quality of Life for Retirees: Aging in Place and Downsizing Options”, a community seminar at the Shoal Centre in Sidney, will prepare retirees with knowledge of what options exist so they are able to make intelligent and informed decisions about the future. The seminar will also uncover ways to be comfortable and prepared to talk about housing plans with a spouse or family member.

The Canadian Diabetes Association has partnered with AdrenaLINE Zipline Adventure Tours for the 2nd annual Dare for Diabetes! It promises to be an exciting all-day, all-ages event to raise money for diabetes research, education, programs, and advocacy. Participants can feel great about supporting a worthy cause, while experiencing a breaktaking 2-hour zipline adventure through the spectacular Sooke Hills rainforest.
